Jack William Ingram Junior, known to family and friends as Bill, passed away on Sept. 10, 2026, in La Grange, the same town where he was born on March 26, 1951.

Bill lived a life marked by devotion, steady work, and a deep care for the people around him. He was the son of Trooper Jack William Ingram Senior, and Willie Jean Ingram, known as Jean, and the brother of Bob Ingram. He carried the values of his family throughout his life, and those who knew him will remember him as loving, kind, and generous.

Bill spent decades building a career rooted in service and technical skill. He began his work with old school telephony systems, commonly known as POTS, and later expanded into fiber optic networks, along with the construction and wireless technologies needed to support them across the region surrounding Fayette County. His work helped connect communities and supported the growth of the area for many years. He took pride in doing his job well, and his experience and dependability earned the respect of colleagues and neighbors alike.

Education was an important part of Bill’s life, and he earned an Associate of Arts degree. He valued learning, practical knowledge, and the ability to use both in service to others. His professional life reflected a strong work ethic and a willingness to adapt as technology changed over the years. He met each new challenge with patience and determination.

Bill was a Christian, and his faith was an important part of the way he lived. He believed in treating others with dignity and kindness, and he showed that belief through his actions every day. He was happiest when he was able to spend time with his family, and those moments were among the most meaningful parts of his life.

He especially enjoyed anything involving water, including fishing and spending time at the beach. These simple pleasures brought him peace and joy. He also cared deeply about anything that helped improve the lives of people around him. Whether through his work, his relationships, or his everyday kindness, he sought to make a positive difference wherever he could.

Bill is survived by his former wife, Theresa Ingram, and their three sons, Jason Ingram, Ben Ingram, and Sam Ingram as well as his ex-wife Donna Sue Nixon, his stepchildren, Brian Willett and Laura Rosas; and his grandchildren/ great-grandchildren, Aiden Ingram, Seirra Ingram, Spencer Ingram, Chance Carpenter, Olivia Rosas, Melody Ingram, Julianna Ingram, Mariah Bates, Jordan Willett, Sophia Willett, Yxel Willett, Brylee Willett, Kehlanni Willett, Vasani Bates, Kehlessi Bates, Xander Moreno, and Mia Moreno.

A Visitation will be held at Koenig-Belvill Funeral Home & Cremations of La Grange on Saturday, Sept. 26, 2026, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. with family present to receive friends.
