Hrncir
Florence Henrietta (Adamcik) Hrncir, 90, of Dallas, passed away peacefully in her sleep on Thursday, Jan. 20, 2022.
Florence was born to Adolph and Henrietta (Muras) Adamcik on July 14, 1931 in La Grange where as one of 14 children she grew up helping on the family farm. She married the love of her life Elick Hrncir, also of La-Grange, on June 5, 1950. They shared the next 68 years raising a family and enjoying the blessings of God’s love which included three children, Judy, Jane and Rick.
For the first 15 years of marriage, Florence wore the hat of Air Force wife which included moving every couple of years and at times raising children on her own, challenges she always managed to handle. After retirement, she and Elick settled in the Dallas area to be close to their extended family which meant enjoying many get-togethers, poker and domino games. During this time, she also enjoyed working outside the home which included running a printing press, arranging flowers at a florist and home child care which was her favorite. Mimi, as her grand-daughters and all the children she cared for fondly called her, always said her happiest times were spent rocking a baby.
She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, brothers and sisters - Charlie, Martha Povse, Leon, Edwin, Adolph, Helen Janacek, Lawrence, Jerry, Lillian Barnes, and Johnny.
Florence is survived by her children, daughter Judy and soni-n-law Steve Anderson, daughter Jane and son-in-law Michael Bender, son Rick and daughter-in-law Margie, grand-daughters Cheryl Wright and Katie Trojacek, great-granddaughters Savannah and Alyssa Wright, sister Lucy Janda brothers Frank, Ben and numerous nieces and nephews.
