Hjorting

Paul Brian Hjorting was born April 10, 1963 in Santa Barbara, Calif. and passed away on Sept. 21, 2020 at the age of 57.

Paul is survived by his wife of 33 years, Jessica Hjorting; his son, Tyler; his daughters, Tessa and Brenna; his grand children, Parker and Harlee; parents, Anna and Mogens; his brother, Eric; as well as aunts uncles and cousins.

Paul and his wife were new to Texas and temporarily residing on a cattle ranch in Round Top while waiting to settle permanently in the small town of Carmine. Paul absolutely loved everything about this great big state of Texas but particularly loved the small town family vibe and friendly neighbors he and his wife experienced in the short time they were here. Paul was a family man who loved to cook, explore, laugh and make people laugh. He was a very knowledgeable man who seemed to be able to correctly answer most questions. He also loved airshows and boats and a guitar well played and our military and police officers as well as our flag, our country and his president. Most of all paul loved spending time with his wife and his family. He was a true patriarch who led an exceptional life that ended way too soon. He will be missed by many.
