Bernice (Heinecke) Hengst, 96, of La Grange, passed away peacefully at St. Mark’s Hospital on Wednesday, Dec. 9, 2020.
Bernice was born in Nechanitz on Sept. 24, 1924, the daughter of August and Alma (Gau) Heinecke.
Bernice married Monroe Hengst on June 24, 1945, at St. Paul Lutheran Church in La Grange.
