Futrell-Rowley

Vargie (Stowe) Futrell-Rowley, 88, of Karnack, passed away peacefully on Saturday, Aug. 14, 2021.

Vargie was born in Karnack, on Aug. 19, 1932, the daughter of Garland and Susan (Belle) Stowe.

She was a devoted mother and committed her entire life to caring for her family. In her free time, Vargie loved to bake for her family and friends.

She is survived by her son, Wade Worth Futrell, III of Marshall; two grandsons: Michael Bartley and wife, Heather of La Grange; and Paul Bartley and wife, Jennifer of Anchorage, Alaska; seven great-grandchildren; along with numerous nieces, nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; spouses: Wade Worth Futrell, Jr and Douglas Pete Rowley; one daughter, Sara Bartley; three brothers and three sisters.

The family will hold a Celebration of Life at a later date.
