Bonnie (Ueckert) Freudenberg, 82, of La Grange, passed away peacefully on Saturday, Oct 31, 2020.

Bonnie was born in Houston on Sept 19, 1938, the daughter of Raymond and Ruby (Boeker) Ueckert.

She was baptized on Sept 10, 1939, by Rev. John Harder at the North Side Lutheran Church of Houston. Bonnie was later confirmed on March 29, 1953, by Rev. S.T. Schroeder, also at her home church, North Side Lutheran.

Bonnie then met the love of her life, Gilbert Freudenberg. They married on March 7, 1959 at Hope Lutheran Church. The couple settled into the Houston area where they raised their daughter, Donna. In 1990, the couple moved to La Grange.

Bonnie dedicated her life to caring for her family. She was a loving and supportive wife, mother, and grandmother during her lifetime.

Bonnie enjoyed camping, fishing, and traveling in their RV, working in the yard, gambling, and going to dances. Bonnie enjoyed her arts and crafts, making floral arrangements, and decorative wreaths.

She is survived by her loving husband of sixty-one years, Gilbert; daughter, Donna LeBlue and husband, Robert of La Grange; brother, Roy Ueckert of Houston; three grandsons: Cody McGraw, Justin McGraw, and Garret LeBlue; along with numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers: Ray, Waldo, Raymond Jr., and twin brother, Johnny Ueckert and wife, Shirley; one sister, Dolores Utter and husband, Bob; sisters-in-law: Jean Ueckert and Annie Freudenberg; brothers-in-law and their wives: Elton and Nelda, Edgar (Buddy) and Caroline, Bill and Pearl, Erwin and Adelea, and George and Lydia Freudenberg.

A visitation was held on Tuesday, Nov. 3, 2020 at KoenigBelvill Funeral Home & Cremations in La Grange from 12 p.m. to 6 p.m. Family was present to receive friends from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m.

Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 4, 2020 at St Paul Evangelical Lutheran Church in La Grange with Pastor Candis O’Meara officiating. Burial followed at the La Grange City Cemetery.
