Jimmy Alan Davis, 63 of Smithville passed away at his ancestral home in Cistern on July 12, 2021.

Jimmy was born Nov. 7, 1957 in Caldwell to Billy and Joyce Thiede Davis of Smithville.

Jimmy is survived by his wife, Sylvia Davis of Cistern; three sons, Adam Davis and his wife Camille of Amarillo, J.R. Cleveland and his wife Brittany of Smithville, and Charles Cleveland and his wife Melissa of Smithville; one brother, Lee Davis and his wife Marlene of Smithville, as well as numerous grandchildren and other relatives.

A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, July 17, 2021 at 11 a.m. at the V.F.W. Hall in Smithville. There will be a potluck meal following the services. The family requests that guests bring their favorite dish.

Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Fayette Memorial Funeral Home & Crematory in La Grange.
