Lillie Beyer, 67, passed away Sunday, Jan. 17, 2021.

She was born Sept. 19, 1953 in Shiner to Thomas and Mary (Fikac) Jalufka. Lillie was a lifetime resident of Moulton and loved her town. She was a hard worker, having worked over the years at Nacoma Boot Factory, Moulton Products, Kaspar Wire Works, Kloesel’s, Oak Manor and finally at Shady Oak Nursing Home.

She was blessed to be the mother of her twin sons, Daniel and David Beyer. She was the “town Mom” and later the “town MoMo” who kept everyone well fed. She was always available to her six grandchildren and never said “no” to school functions, babysitting or cooking for the family. She had a special place in her heart for her extended grandchildren especially Sheridan, Alison, Blakely, Austin, Gaison, Hannah and Anthony, and nieces and nephews, Candy, Terry, Rodney, Kim, Krisha, Bryan and Farrah. She loved family time with her sister, Angie and brother Joe and Shirley Jalufka, especially “donating” her money to the casinos in Louisana.

When her health began to decline, she became a resident at Shady Oak Nursing & Rehab. She knew everyone there and enjoyed her “retirement” time with all her friends. She was grateful for the simple things in life and will be greatly missed by everyone.

Survivors are her sons, David Beyer and wife Sheri and Daniel Beyer, all of Moulton; six grandchildren, Nathan Beyer (Mary), Dylan Beyer (Cheyenne), Kylee Beyer, Hanna Beyer, Seth Beyer and Carson Beyer; great-granddaughter, Amelia Jane Beyer; sister, Angie Richter (Roy) of Flatonia; numerous extended family.

She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Joseph Jalufka and wife Shirley.

Visitation was held from 4 to 7 p.m., Tuesday, Jan. 19, 2021 at Thiele Cooper Funeral Home in Yoakum.

Rosary was recited at 9:30 a.m. with Funeral Mass at 10 a.m., Wednesday, Jan. 20, 2021 at St. Joseph Catholic Church with Rev. Gabriel Mason officiating. Burial followed at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery.

Pallbearers were her grandsons, Nathan, Dylan, Seth and Carson Beyer and Terry Joe Jalufka, Bryan Richter and Adam Nieto.

Memorials may be given to St. Joseph Catholic Church or Hospice of South Texas.

Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Thiele Cooper Funeral Home in Yoakum.
