The La Grange High School academics team placed 1st at the District 22-4A UIL Academics Spring Meet. Regional qualifiers will compete at the Region 3-4AAcademic Meet on Saturday, April 27, at Stephen F. Austin State University in Nacogdoches.

After setting record highs for sales tax revenue last year, Fayette County towns are finding it’s hard to keep up such a pace. Five of the county’s seven towns have collected less revenue in 2024 than they did in the same period of 2023.
