Nearly 5,500 cyclists pedaled into La Grange Saturday for the 40th annual Texas MS 150. As of Sunday, April 28, The ride raised more than $7.5 million for the National Multiple Sclerosis Society. Riders departed from various locations in Houston and Austin early Saturday morning. The first large groups began arriving at the Fayette County Fairgrounds in La Grange around noon, where they were greeted by well-wishers. Riders and volunteers spent Saturday night at the Fairgrounds and began departing La Grange at 6:45 a.m. on their way to the finish line at Kyle Field in College Station. The event concluded Sunday afternoon with a big meet-up on the Texas A&M University campus in College Station. Thankfully for the riders, the rain held off until Sunday afternoon, but wind was an issue all weekend. Photos by Andy Behlen
