Stolen Jeep Recovered

La Grange Police recovered a stolen vehicle on Sunday, Aug. 2.

Police Chief David Gilbreath said a business in the 1800 block of State Highway 159 called around 12:02 p.m. that day to report a suspicious vehicle in the parking lot. It was a grey 2016 Jeep Grand Cherokee with Pennsylvania license plates. The Jeep had been parked there since Friday, the business reported.

“The reason they abandoned it was because they must have hit something on the highway and knocked out the ball joints on the left front wheel,” Gilbreath said.

Gilbreath said whoever stole the Jeep damaged the inside considerably.
