St. Rose Church Sets Fundraiser For June 14

While St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church in Schulenburg will not be able to hold its annual parish picnic due to the COVID-19 pandemic, a fundraiser will be held on Sunday, June 14 at the Knights of Columbus Hall, 405 South St.

A drive-through meal featuring fried chicken, sausage and all the trimmings will be served starting at 11 a.m. at the K. of C. Hall. Adult plates will be $10. Tickets for the sweepstakes drawing will also be available.

The fundraiser will include an online auction. Bids will be accepted from Friday, June 12 through Friday, June 19. The auction website is https://charityauction.bid/StRoseChurch or go to the parish website (www. strosecatholic.org) and click on the “fundraiser info” button below the picture of the church. Once on the auction website, choose “auction items” from the menu at the top to view items or get more info. You must register to bid on an item, but you don’t have to enter a credit card to register. Winners may pay via cash, check or credit card.
