Thirty Senior Connections members recently went on a great adventure. Departing from Schulenburg, Carolyn Moore’s van, the Jordan Ranch van, the Senior Connections van, and a few members’ vehicles, we drove to Burton, to the Burton Seafood and Steakhouse for a delicious meal.
The next stop was the Burton Cotton Gin Museum. Many of our members remember the days of picking cotton or have heard stories from their family. Tour guides were extremely informative and helpful as members toured the gin that still works. Much appreciation to Carolyn Moore, Cynthia and Greg Trojacek, and Jordan Ranch for the use of their van.
