Senior Bingo Planned In Ledbetter Oct. 11

Ledbetter Bingo for seniors (age 60 and older plus guests) will be on Sunday, Oct. 11 from 2-4 p.m. at the Ledbetter Community Center. Doors open at 1:15 p.m. and games are played from 2-4 p.m.

A card is $5 and covers all games with prizes awarded for each game. Snacks and drinks are available for donation.

This is a non-profit community event for entertainment. Money collected is used for purchase of prizes and other expenses.

October Antique Show 

October Antique Show is coming up. There are several venues available for vendors and visitors. Carmine Dance Hall is scheduled for Oct. 2328. MLLC News

Bethlehem Lutheran Praise Team will be providing music for the service at Lutherhill on Oct. 25 and are recruiting any musicians and vocalists for that day. AA group meets Saturday at 8:30-9:30 a.m.

Sunday School begins Sunday at 9 a.m.

Worship with Holy Communion, observing the 21st Sunday after Pentecost, is Sunday at 10 a.m. The Rev. Ken Weisse will serve as the guest pastor.

Lutheran World Relief 

WELCA is collecting items for the Personal Care Kits for Lutheran World Relief as follows: 1 light to medium bath size towel; 2 bath size bars of soap; 1 adult toothbrush; 1 sturdy comb; and 1 metal nail clipper (with or without attached file.) Wrap items in towel and secure with yarn. Any of the items will be accepted. We appreciate the donations.

Recycling Trailers 

The recycling collection trailers are at the Carmine Hall in the morning from 7:30 a.m.-noon on Thursdays.

Accepted are clean No. 1 and 2 plastic bottles and jugs. Please keep clean milk cartons separate from the other No. 2 plastics. Also, numbers 3, 4, 5, 6, and 7 plastics and plastic bags are not accepted.

Dry newspapers, telephone books, magazines, cardboard, paper, junk mail, all colors glass, steel food cans, and aluminum cans may also be brought. Attendants are available to help unload.
