Roscher Inducted Into Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society

Colton Roscher was among a selected number of Blinn College students inducted into the Beta Alpha Chapter of the Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society. After some delay, due to COVID-19 restrictions, the induction ceremony took place via the internet on Thursday, April 23. Phi Theta Kappa has become one of the largest and most prestigious honor societies in higher education. Membership is based primarily on academic excellence and is extended by invitation only.

Established in 1918, Phi Theta Kappa International Honor Society serves to recognize and encourage the academic achievement of two-year college students and provide opportunities for individual growth and development through honors, leadership and service programming. Today, Phi Theta Kappa is one of the largest honor societies in American higher education with more than two million members and 1,200 chapters located in the United States, U.S. territories, Canada and Germany.

Colton is a 2019 graduate of La Grange High School and is the son of Glen and Margaret Roscher.
