Record Wins Awards at South Texas Press Association Convention in Beorne

The Fayette County Record won several journalism awards at the 97th annual South Texas Press Association Press Convention in Boerne last week.

The Record competed in the largest readership division against other semi-weeklies from around South Texas, papers from Uvalde to El Campo to Lampasas and others in between.

The judging was done by members of the North and East Texas Press Association and was for work done during the 2022 year.

Second Place in General Excellence for work done by the entire Record staff.
