Public Hearing on Solar Farm Postponed Until Aug. 27

The Fayette County Commissioners Court voted last Thursday to postpone the public hearing over a proposed tax abatement for the 7V Solar Farm near Cistern until Aug. 27.

Cameron Pavluk of Candela Renewables, the company behind the solar project, told the Record that Candela asked the county to delay the hearing due to some changes regarding the properties that will be part of the project.

The company’s tax abatement application is being updated. That document will be available for the public to view to before the hearing once the changes are made.
