‘Princess Bride’ Comes to Round Top
Movie Nights
The Round Top Lions Club’s Free Friday Outdoor Movies on Henkel Square continues this week with The Princess Bride. This week, Round Top Real Estate will be providing snacks for all movie-goers. This movie series continues every Friday through Aug. 28. Bring your lawn chair or blanket and enjoy the movie with your family. The movies begin at 8:15 p.m. No outside alcohol is allowed. Please maintain social distancing between groups.

Round Top-Carmine ISD is planning to open beginning the week of Aug. 24, with staggered start dates. A more detailed look at the opening policies, along with the school supply lists for both the elementary and high school, are available on the website at www.rtcisd.net.
Chamber of Commerce
The Round Top Chamber of Commerce monthly meeting is scheduled for Aug. 13, with an 8:30 a.m. social and meeting start-time of 9 a.m. If you are unable to attend the meeting, the minutes and agendas are posted on the Chamber’s website at www.roundtopchamber.com.
Emerging Artists Competition
The Emerging Artists Competition, which awards $3,500 to young artists, will be held on Aug. 15 at ARTS in Fayetteville. This contest provides an annual opportunity for students in grades 6 through 12 to showcase their creations at the ARTS’ Ross Gallery. Art Stokes Performance
Art Stokes will be performing Pop Standards from the 20s through the 70s on his keyboard this Saturday, Aug. 8, from 7:30- 9 p.m. at Henkel Square. Guests are invited to bring their lawn chairs and enjoy the music.
Bethlehem Lutheran Church
Bethlehem Lutheran Church hosts services with Pastor John David Nedbalek on Sundays at 9:30 a.m. Social distancing is in place and extra safety precautions are being taken.

City of Refuge Church

RT Christian Fellowship
Round Top Christian Fellowship church services have been moved to 9 a.m. and are being held outside under the covered pavilion. This is an effort not to be in a closed space during the pandemic. Family Library
The Round Top Family Library’s current hours are Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday from 1:30-3:30 p.m., Thursday from 1:30-5:30 p.m. and closed on Saturday and Sundays.
