NBT Welcomes New CFO
National Bank and Trust is excited to welcome David Laffee as its new Chief Financial Officer (CFO).
Laffee stepped into the role of CFO for NBT on April 16 and will serve as treasurer of the holding company as well. He has more than 15 years of experience as a CFO for various financial institutions ranging in size from $125 million in assets to $2.3 billion in assets. He also worked for BDO and RSM, both of whom are in the top ten largest CPA firms. While in public accounting, Laffee concentrated on external and internal audit in the financial institution division. David holds a bachelor’s in science-accountancy from De-Paul University and an MBA in finance from Lewis University. David passed his CPA exam in 1999.
Laffee’s experience will allow NBT to continue to provide the highest possible level of operations excellence to customers and the community it serves.
