Main Street Hosting Drive-In Movie Nights
La Grange Main Street is changing with the times and taking a different spin on Movie Nights on the Square. They have updated their plans to the Fayette County Fairgrounds for a Drive-In movie experience. Yes, you read that right..drive-in movies in Fayette County are coming in June. There is a $5 fee per car and reservations are required as there are only 125 spots available.
The first Drive-In Movie Night at the Fairgrounds will be held on Friday, June 5 with the feature presentation of Disney’s Moana. Gates will open at 7 p.m. and the movie will start promptly at 8:30 p.m. La Grange Main Street has partnered with The Back Porch BBQ to offer on-site barbecue dinner boxes and snack boxes. These meal boxes must be pre-ordered through the website as there will be limited on-site sales. Drinks will be available to purchase on-site.
Additional Drive-In Movie Nights at the Fairgrounds will be held on Friday, June 19 with the showing of “Blue Hawaii” featuring Elvis Presley and rounding out the summer with “Frozen II” on Friday, July 10. La Grange Main Street is able to offer these one-of-a-kind movie experiences due to the generous support of the Rotary Club of La Grange, La Grange Economic Development Corporation, and Colorado Valley Communications.
