La Grange’s Texas Quilt Museum Not Reopening Yet

The Texas Quilt Museum in La Grange “will continue to remain closed for the foreseeable future until this virus once again allows normal activity and we can welcome you all to the Texas Quilt Museum. The online Museum store will also continue to be closed for the time being.,” said Museum manager Julie Maffei, in a statement to the public. “In the meantime, we invite you to take a “Virtual Tour” of the current exhibits, with photos and information on all the quilts from Texas Grandmasters: Timeless Quilts and Fun With Fractals and Other Mathematical Quilts on our website. My Mexico by Quilters de Mexico will be the next Virtual Gallery. And we’ve extended the display dates for all three exhibits until September 20.”
