La Grange Roadrunners Gather for Brown Bag Social

Some La Grange Roadrunners gathered together for a brown bag social this past weekend. The group has not been out and about since the first week of March. Members noted it felt great to be able to get together and be able to bring each one up on what each has been doing for the past three months.

Members are used to seeing one another every week for square dancing get together’s. There were several members who were unable to attend, however, the ones who made the event came in with their masks and also a lawn chair as it was an outside event. Several members have been doing a lot of gardening, which ended up with several being able to can or freeze some of the vegetables.

The group was entertained by two members of the club who played guitar, banjo and sang. Then one couple from the latest graduation class sang for the group as well.

Members are hoping and praying that all of this virus spreading around the country will soon clear so that the group can get back to square dancing.

It was an enjoyable time for all who were able to attend.
