COVID changed many things during the spring and summer, but business in La Grange continued and so did the grant programs offered through the City of La Grange’s Office of Community Development. Because of the pandemic restrictions, the department temporarily stopped check presentations.

However, the following businesses received grants over the last several months:

• YM Apparel & Design (207 W. Travis Street) - Sign Grant

• Round Top Real Estate (101 N. Main Street) - Sign Grant

• Second Chance Emporium (841 S. Reynolds Street) - Sign Grant

• La Grange Farm and Ranch Inc. (623 E. Colorado Street) - Sign Grant

• Betty Bauer Rental Management (240 W. Colorado Street) - Paint Grant

• LuLu’s Salon (934 E. Travis Street) - Paint and Sign Grant

• Tejas Health Care (890 E. Travis Street) - Façade Grant

• AMEN Food Pantry (851 S. Reynolds) - Façade Grant

• Whataburger (1800 E. State Hwy. 71) - Security Enhancement Grant

The City of La Grange’s Office of Community Development appreciates all the grant recipients who invested in their business and in the La Grange community.
