Graduation Prep – Social Distancing Edition

It was a long process Wednesday for La Grange High School Principal John Pineda (left) and athletic director Matt Kates (right) as they marked off with tape, section by section, socially-distanced areas for attendee groups for each of the 100-plus seniors who were set to graduate at Thursday’s ceremony at Leopard Stadium. Then each section got the personalized name of a senior (indicated by those yellow sheets above). The still-in-progress graduation stage is visible in the background on the football field. Each graduate was allowed to have 10 guests for the ceremony.
