Fayetteville Man is Arrested For Assault

Sheriff Keith Korenek reports on Aug. 11 that the Fayette County Sheriff’s Office received a third party call for a welfare concern of a female in Fayetteville at a residence on E. Main St.

Deputy Mark Bennett and Deputy Joe Gonzales went to the residence and interviewed the male and female occupants. The female was brought to the Sheriff’s office and her children where a complaint was taken. After an extensive Investigation by Deputies, Investigator’s Sgt. Angela Lala and Garrett Durrenberger obtained an Arrest Warrant for 34 year-old Mark Austen Martin who was booked into the Dan R. Beck Justice Center for Assault Family Violence of a Household Member Impede Breath/Circulation.
