Fall Antiques Show Postponed Until October
The 2020 Fall Antiques Show has been moved to Thursday, Oct. 15, through Sunday, Nov. 1. Special protocols will be in place to ensure the safety of all vendors and attendees.
The Round Top Chamber of Commerce monthly meetings are held the on second Thursday of each month; the next meeting is scheduled for August 13. A social hour begins at 8:30 and the meeting starts at 9 a.m. If you are unable to attend the meeting, minutes and agendas are posted on the Chamber’s website.

Movies on the Square
The Round Top Lions Club’s Free Friday Outdoor Movies on Henkel Square continues this week with Aladdin. This movie series continues every Friday through August 28. Bring your lawn chair or blanket and enjoy the movie with your family. The movies begin at 8:15 p.m. No outside alcohol is allowed. Please maintain social distancing between groups.
RT-C School News
Round Top-Carmine ISD is planning to open for the new school year on August 19 with safety guidelines in place. More specific information will be available to parents, guardians and the community and is expected to be released this week. For more information, please visit rtcisd.net.

Festival Hill
Festival Hill’s August to April Series is scheduled to kickoff on Saturday, August 22, with a Chamber Music Trio featuring Chavdar Parashkevov on the violin, Louis-Marie Fardet on the cello and Viktor Valkov on the piano. Bethlehem Lutheran Church
Bethlehem Lutheran Church services with Pastor John David Nedbalek are held on Sundays at 9:30 a.m. Social distancing is in place and extra safety precautions are being taken.

RT Christian Fellowship
Round Top Christian Fellowship church services have been moved to 9 a.m. and are being held outside under the covered pavilion. This is an effort not to be in an enclosed space during the pandemic. Family Library
The Round Top Family Library’s current hours are Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m., Thursday from 1:30 to 5:30 p.m. and closed on Saturday and Sundays.
The Kid’s Summer Education and Enrichment (S.E.E.) program continues through the end of this month. A local newscast with kiddos from our community airs on Tuesdays and Thursdays. This is available for viewing on the website or their social media pages. Free activity materials will be available for pickup at RTFL during regular hours while supplies last.
The Books, Boots and BBQ event is scheduled for Saturday, September 12, at the Round Top Rifle Hall. This is the Library’s way of saying “thank you” to the community and volunteers. Meal tickets are $30. Tickets and tables can be purchased online or at the library.

Walk for Life
New Beginnings Pregnancy Center’s annual Walk For Life event is being held Saturday, Aug. 8, from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. at Hohlt Park in Brenham. This year’s fundraiser will be a Chick-Fil-A drive-thru with curbside or outdoor dining. Raffle tickets are also being sold.
