Emma Anderson Shares Girls State Experience With American Legion Unit 102 Auxiliary

The American Legion Auxiliary (ALA) Unit 102 (La Grange) welcomed Emma Anderson, La Grange High school incoming senior (Class of 2027) to the joint meeting with the American Legion Post recently as she returned from her Texas Bluebonnet Girls State experience.

The tradition continues as the Texas American Legion Auxiliary hosts the Texas Bluebonnet Girls State 2026 on the campus of Texas Lutheran University in Seguin, Texas with each local unit then sponsoring the student.

Emma shared stories and spoke of her experiences with the other 628 attendees; she specifically enjoyed the community and unity felt at Girls State. In her closing she en-thusiastically said, if anyone has the opportunity to attend, do not miss it. With that endorsement, the American Legion Auxiliary will continue to be there for those looking forward to attending the 2027 Texas Bluebonnet Girls State.
