County 4th Graders Go on an Ag-Venture

Hundreds of 4th graders from all over Fayette County converged on the fairgrounds Thursday in La Grange for the annual Fayette County Farm Bureau’s Ag Day. The event is possible thanks to a whole army of volunteers, who help the kids move around during the day among agricultural related stations around the grounds. One of the kids’ favorites always seems to be the poultry station, where they all get to hold baby chicks (above).
