The Community Theatre Presenting Scary Campfire Tales at Lake Fayette
Join Fayette County Community Theatre for a night of scary stories around the Oak Thicket Park campfire spot at Lake Fayette Saturday, October 24. The night will feature tales of lake lore, mysterious creatures, and one ghost from the upcoming production of Too Many Ghosts.
The host for the night will be General Manager, Kevin White of Lake Fayette. White, Anthony Lira and Shane Huffstutler will be the event’s storytellers. Additionally the Fayette County Paranormal Society will be on hand to share any supernatural findings from their equipment. This is not the first event the group has participated in collaboration with FCCT. Last year’s ghost tour attendees may remember the society’s presence at La Grange’s Faision House. This family friendly event will include s’mores and concessions. Attendees are encouraged to bring lawn chairs or blankets. Scary Campfire Tales starts at 7 p.m. and Oak Thicket Park is located at 4819 West State Highway outside Fayetteville. If it rains, alternate shelter will be available at the lake grounds. Purchase tickets in person at the FCCT Box Office and Studio at 120 South Washington Street in La Grange, or online at www.faycotheatre. com. The Box Office is open Tuesday through Friday 11:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. To reserve a campsite call Lake Fayette at (979) 2493504.
