    Catholic Daughter Sunday Proclaimed Oct. 16

The National Board of Catholic Daughters of the Americas designated Sunday, Oct. 16 as Catholic Daughter Sunday. Since their beginning in 1903, the Catholic Daughters have been using their God given talents and time to work for quality of life and defense of humanity. Those members of the Queen of the Holy Rosary Court No. 2282 of Hostyn that were able to attend the Proclamation signing by the Fayette County Judge were, front from left: Recording Secretary Bernadette Muras, Regent Brenda Fietsam, Judge Joe Weber, Vice Regent Lori Kallus and Treasurer Clara Smith; back row: Lillian Kallus, Dianna Kallus and Claire Youngblood.
