ARTS Announces Emerging Artists Winners
Open Studio resumed at ARTS Aug. 8. Artists can connect with fellow creatives, work on projects in a supportive environment and exchange constructive critiques with peers. Many congratulations to the winners of this year’s ARTS Emerging Artists Competition. Ribbons and cash prizes were awarded last Saturday. Artwork for these kiddos will be exhibited in ARTS Ross Gallery Tuesday through Saturday from 10 a.m. - 4 p.m. through Aug. 30.

Fayetteville EDC
The Fayetteville Economic Development Corporation (FEDC) will meet on Wednesday, Aug. 13. All are all welcome to attend. Fayetteville ISD
Summer is fading away for FISD students. They’re heading back to school Wednesday, Aug. 13. An open house was held Thursday. Over the summer, new energy-efficient windows were successfully installed in the secondary building, and two new buses replaced older ones that had aged out at 13 years old.

The boutique Bloom & Co will be relocating from the square to a new spot in Round Top.
Mobile Food Pantry
The Central Texas Mobile Food Pantry will be at St. John on Wednesday, Aug. 13 from 10 - 11 a.m. Walk up to the entrance and bring bags or carts for pickup.
Picking Park
Listen to a talented group of bluegrass musicians that pick and sing at Picking Park on the square this Saturday. They get together the second Saturday of each month from January-November. The music flows from 2 p.m. until whenever.
St. Paul Lutheran
St. Paul Lutheran holds services on Sundays at 10:30 a.m. Services are recorded every week, rotating among four Shared Lutheran Ministry churches and posted on the Facebook page for the Shared Lutheran Ministry of Fayette County. Services are also featured on KTIM 89.1 Sundays at noon.
St. John the Baptist Catholic St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Fayetteville holds Mass Saturdays at 6 p.m., and Sunday’s at 10 a.m.
St. Mary Catholic Church St. Mary Catholic Church in Ellinger holds Mass on Saturdays at 4 p.m. and Sunday’s at 8 a.m.
Fayetteville Brethren
Worship services at Fayetteville Brethren are held on the second, third and fourth Saturday of every month at 10 a.m. An adult Bible Study is held before the worship service from 9 to 9:45 a.m.
