Aggie Bonfire Survivor to Speak at LHS Graduation

The La Grange High School graduation ceremony will be held Thursday June 25 at Leopard Stadium at 8 p.m.

The guest speaker for the graduation will be John Comstock, sometimes referred to as “The 13th Man,” of Texas A&M.

John Comstock was the last surviving student to be pulled out of the 1999 Texas A&M bonfire collapse that killed 12 and injured 27 students.

Today, Mr. Comstock works full time as a financial advisor for Texas A&M systems and travels the nation sharing his amazing story of inspiration.

Because of coronavirus precautions each graduate was limited to 10 tickets for family and friends.
