La Grange ISD Issues Guidelines for Extracurricular Activities

La Grange ISD issued the following guidelines concerning extracurricular activities this upcoming school year:

La Grange ISD will follow the UIL Guidelines regarding spectator seating for extracurricular activities for the 2020-2021 school year.  Occupancy of the Football Stadium and Gym will be based on 50% capacity and social distancing guidelines.  All ticket sales for sporting events will be done electronically through School Event Tickets website.  A link will be posted on the La Grange ISD website when tickets are available for sale to the general public.  Due to limited seating for events this school year – KTIM Radio will livestream games and KVLG/KBUK will broadcast live games.

FOOTBALL TICKET SALES

There will be a limited number of tickets available for each home game. 

All ticket sales will be sold pre-sale and online only for varsity, junior varsity, freshmen, and middle school games.

No tickets sales will be conducted at entry gates.

Tickets for football games will be $5.00 for varsity games and $3.00 for sub-varsity and middle school games.

There will be no reserved seats this season.  All seats will be available on a first come, first serve basis.

Seating will be allowed in groups of no more than 10 and social distancing guidelines will be used between each group.

Ticket Sales will be conducted in the following order for each varsity home game:  parents of all participating students; chair back season ticket holders; general admission public sale.

A limited number of high school student tickets will be available for each varsity home game and will be $5.00.

The number and process for student ticket sales will be announced at school each week. 

No passes other than District 13 4A passes will be issued this school year.

No athletic student passes will be issued.

Each school that visits La Grange ISD will be given an allotted number of tickets available for the visitor side of the stadium. 

Schools that host La Grange ISD for out of town games will determine the number of tickets available for their site and will be posted online for sale as well.

Fans should not travel to games if they do not have a ticket.

No fans will be allowed on the field following games and fans are asked to immediately exit the stadium upon the completion of the game.

FACE COVERINGS

Per UIL Guidelines, all fans, spectators, etc. will be required to wear a face covering upon entering the stadium and while attending games.    

SCREENING

All attendees will be screened for COVID-19 symptoms and/or close contact with COVID-19 prior to entering the event.  Individuals who have a self-screened temperature of 100.0 Fahrenheit, have been lab-confirmed with COVID-19, are experiencing COVID-19 symptoms, or have been in close contact with a lab-confirmed case of COVID-19 in the last 14 days should refrain from attending athletic events.

Signs will be posted that notes that attendees can only enter if they are symptom free and have not been exposed. 

VOLLEYBALL TICKET SALES

There will be a limited number of tickets available for each home volleyball game.

All ticket sales will be sold pre-sale only and online. 

No tickets will be available at the door.

The only passes accepted this year are District 13 4A passes.

There are no student passes for volleyball games this season.

All tickets for varsity, junior varsity, freshmen and middle school volleyball games will be $3.00; students and adults.

Fans will be allowed to sit in groups of no more than 10 individuals and each group is to maintain 6 feet from other groups.

Fans that wish to watch games in two gyms will have to purchase a ticket for both gyms.

Fans will not be seated in consecutive rows except to fill a group of 10.  (5 individuals seated on two rows consecutively)

To accommodate parents and fans for middle school volleyball games, the two 7th grade (A&B) games will be played followed by the two 8th grade (A&B) games.  The gym will be cleared after the 7th grade games to make seating available for 8th grade games.

Schools that host La Grange ISD will determine the number of tickets available for their gym site.

Fans should immediately exit the gym after the games are completed. 

Fans should not travel to games if they do not have a ticket.

FOR ALL EVENTS

Parents who have participating students in an event will have first priority to purchase tickets.  Ticket purchases will be limited (i.e. each parent might have a ticket maximum allotment for each event such as 2-4 tickets).

Instructions for each event will be emailed to parents of participants at least 5 days prior to the event.

Once tickets go on sale to the general public, parents may purchase more tickets on a first come, first serve basis. 

The QR code issued to the ticket purchaser will be scanned at the gate.

QR codes are single use only.

Hand sanitizer will be available at all entry gates to events.

La Grange ISD asks that all attendees to events follow all UIL and school COVID guidelines.
