Patsy Chernosky Parker (according to your recent letter) it looks like your Trump version of the Bible printed in China is missing a few pages.
Exodus 23:9 “Do not oppress a foreigner; you yourselves know how it feels to be foreigners.”
God clearly rejects injustice toward immigrants.
Leviticus 23:22 “When you reap the harvest ... leave them for the poor and the foreigner.”
God makes provision for immigrants through generosity.
Hebrews 13:2 “Do not forget to show hospitality to strangers.”
Hospitality reflects God’s welcoming nature.”
Deuteronoy 24:17 “Do not deprive the foreigner or the fatherless of justice.”
God demands justice and fairness for immigrants.
Deuteronomy 15:15 “You are to remember that you were slaves in Egypt.”
God reminds people of their own history. Gratitude leads to compassion.
Do not worry Mr. Jeff Parker I have not forgotten you. Your article does not smell like roses.
I pinch my nose every time I read it. You falsely state that Trump was overwhelmingly elected by the voters.
Wrong. Trump received less than 50% of the popular vote. More voters voted against him than for him.
You falsely state that the law allows breaking down your door without a judicial warrant. Not surprising since Trump treats the U.S. Constitution like toilet paper. That might explain the odor emanating from your article. The Fourth Amendment to the U. S. Constitution protects you from unreasonable searches and seizures without a judicial warrant signed by a judge. You are excused though since you have probably never read the Constitution. Mr. Parker I totally disagree with your conclusions regarding the shooting by ICE officers. I have watched multiple videos multiple times. My conclusion is that the shooting of Ms. Renee Good and Mr. Elex Pretti were not justified. They were not a threat to anyone at any time. The ICE officers acted illegally and should be tried for murder. They overstepped their authority and acted as Judge Jury and Executioner. Even if you think they did something wrong they did not deserve to die. In Mr. Pretti’s case he was shot ten times in the back while lying face down on the ground pinned down by several officers. As Festus says on Gunsmoke you shoot someone in the back you hang. Your attack on the FCR for the content of Opinions is ridiculous. You obviously believe in censorship, book burning and book banning the traits of the dictatorial government we are becoming following the footsteps of Nazi Germany. Just as Hitler persecuted the Jews Trump is persecuting Hispanics and other people of color.
