The Woes of Cancel Culture

To the Editor:

“Who is the cancel culture?” Is it the same people who began the “unfriend me” craze, and why are we paying attention to the “cancel culture” anyway? No one can be canceled.

We don’t have “expiration dates” anywhere on our bodies. So who is it that has decided to “rule the world” through the “cancellation” of others or of things? Makes no sense. This is another creation of a few who have nothing to do but play games with society. No one knows who created this silliness. One thing is for sure, however, they are very likely laughing at all those people and those companies that buckled under their “cancellations.” If everyone and every business laughs this foolishness off and goes about normal behavior, there will be no “cancel culture.” and….all those who fell for this “junk scheme” to control people’s lives and make them “non-thinkers” who typically fall in with the “herd,” will realize they have been played for fools.

When people see this junk for what it is and ignore it completely, “cancel culture” will go into the trash bin of silliness.
