Why Do They Come?

To The Editor:

It is time for us to awaken.

For months and years we have been pummeled by “woke revisionists” and “the tyranny of the expert” to shame our citizens, country and its singular positive world leadership. The world would be a totally different place today without the American Republic. Imagine what (in-spite of flaws) would be the state of the world were it not for the American Dream? Why have millions flocked to our shores legally and illegally? They are not pounding on the doors of Russia, China, Iran, Argentina and dozens of other dictatorial countries. Why?

Christ and contentious patriots died on the cross and in foreign countries. The patriots sought no claim on foreign soils except for enough to be buried. Their sacrifice created the blessings that “woke revisionists” driven by “government experts” now want to strike from our history.

Compare your blessings, earned by patriots, to the dashed hopes of people in those other countries. What has opened the door for woke revisionists to steal our sense of uniqueness and worth? The answer is the failure of citizens to engage in self-governance at all levels; local, state and national.

It is now time for us to “awaken” to this poison? 2022 is a new year. Reclaim our great country. If not now, when?
