Unacceptable Behavior

To The Editor:

My family has lived in the Round Top area for over 150 years. Our level of trust has been so complete that we have never had a gate on the driveway to our property. We have never locked the doors to our house, and always left the keys in our cars and farm equipment.

It is with deep sadness and disappointment to see that there are people in our community and society who do not respect the rights of others, especially if they have different opinions, who do not respect the property and community values of others, who do not respect our constitution, and do not obey our laws.

Over the last few weeks, during the last election, someone trespassed on our property, stole our signs twice, and spraypainted our signs a third time.

My cameras captured photos of this individual, and I posted the photos on Facebook.

Are we as a community going to allow this kind of unacceptable behavior? Enough is enough! Are we going to stand up for what is right?
