Trump Doesn’t Represent Republicans

To the Editor:

I take offense to Mr. Brower putting words into my letter to the editor that weren’t there. I purposely left out “Republican Party” when I said that “ Trump’s party of law and order is a sham.” The reason why I did that is obvious - Trump’s party doesn’t represent the beliefs of law abiding Republicans who believe in upholding the Constitution.

I hope most folks have become aware of the “Lincoln Project.” It is a group of Republicans holding accountable those who would violate their oaths to the Constitution and put others before the American people-in other words, Trump’s party. The Lincoln Project supports Joe Biden for president and recently endorsed Kamala Harris for vicepresident. Project quote:

“Harris is renowned for her legal expertise and is a defender of justice and human rights.”

In the light of the loss of Supreme Court Justice, Ruth Bader Gingsburg, the Lincoln Project fiercely condemns possible Supreme Court nomination by Trump as “it would forever bear the stain of a hyper-partisan choice made by a president desperate to cling to power.”
