Thank You Neighbor

To the Editor:

Thanks so much to Fayette Electric for the way you all handled the recent snow and ice storm. I think they did a great job for the issues we had. To the people who get on those poles in horrible weather at any hour and deal with electricity, you have my utmost respect.

I also want to thank a neighbor, Marlene St Cyr. I drove up to my home recently and she was out in the ditches near my home picking up trash. Wow. Our world needs more people like her. We also need people to just put their trash in the trash receptacle when they get gas. It’s very easy to do.

And lastly, is there a thing called cell phone etiquette? I keep my phone on at night for emergency purposes. Just because you might get up super early doesn’t mean that I do.

Thanks for the 5 a.m. wake up call.
