Thank You EMS Leaders

To the Editor:

Fayette County’s first responders are a team, period. Yes, there are politics and personality conflicts involved from time to time, but that is common with any group, but we all come together to protect our community. Fayette County EMS has seen tremendous growth and exceptional service under the management of Sharon Muzny and Malissa Mieth. FCEMS always assisted the county’s fire departments, whether it was to provide medical standby at a fire scene, training or to discuss ways to improve and prepare for future emergencies. Both phenomenal ladies have left FCEMS for other positions and they will be greatly missed. Both ladies helped lead the medical response through the ongoing pandemic all while being on the front line and trying to keep the exposure to the county’s first responders to a minimum. On behalf of the Fayette County Firefighter’s Association, I would like to extend my gratitude to Sharon and Malissa; you will be missed. Thank you for your tremendous efforts and service to the citizens of Fayette County. May God Bless your next adventure.
