Texas MS 150 Just a Month Away
Nearly 7,500 cyclists will hit the road for Bike MS: Texas MS 150 on April 30-May 1. Hosted by the National Multiple Sclerosis Society, Bike MS: Texas MS 150 is an opportunity for companies, coworkers, neighbors, friends and family to team up for an extraordinary ride to make a difference in the lives of nearly one million people living with multiple sclerosis in the U.S.
Cyclists will ride up to 180 miles over two days, departing from Houston and Austin on April 30 and crossing the allnew finish line at Kyle Field in College Station on May 1. In addition to a new finish line, cyclists will also have the option of starting in Austin near the State Capitol. With multiple route options both days, the total milage for cyclists can vary from 152- 180 miles.
“Bike MS: Texas MS 150 is a one-of-a-kind experience for many, bringing cyclists together at all levels for a common goalto create a world free of MS,” said Linda Bates, President, National MS Society, South Central. “Although nearly one million people in the U.S. live with MS, most people don’t know or understand what it is. This ride not only creates awareness for MS but also provides hope for many living with the disease and raises much-needed funds raised to support cutting-edge research and programs and services for those living with MS.”
Bike MS: Texas MS 150 is a fully supported ride and is one of the nearly 60 rides across the country.
This year, an estimated 46,000 people are expected to participate in Bike MS nationwide.
