Texas Democrats: No Work, No Pay

To the Editor:

It sure is funny how the Democrats keep talking about preserving democracy, but when they run away to Washington D.C. to escape their duty as representatives to the people they act like children. I’m sure when the Democrats were in the majority they had no problem voting for what they wanted, but the Republicans didn’t run away from their sworn duties.

I hope Governor Abbott has the Attorney General doing everything in his power to make them come home. If that means making it rough for the families of those representatives then so be it. One good opportunity to use is their pay. No work, no pay.

I hope the constituents of these rogue delegates realize they are no longer being represented by anyone because they voted them in.
