Stop Name-Calling
To the Editor:
Giving names to those you dislike instead of presenting a valid, law-based argument proves you are inept at a discussion, and thus are deflecting by resorting to name-calling and term-using.
Conspiracy Theorist, Religious Right, Young and Dumb, Boomer, Karen, these are meant to insult and make the receiver quail in, I guess, shame. In reality, they show your ineptitude at waging a factual conversation against your opponent.
“When the debate is lost, slander becomes the tool of the loser.”
Let’s start speaking the law of America, and stop tossing blanket terms at people we don’t like.
