St. Mark’s Care

To The Editor:

A special “Thank-you” to our St. Mark’s Hospital for the recent care of my husband for the past three weeks. He entered through the ER, which we found to be efficient and caring, and he benefited from the professional care of Dr. Borgstedte and her staff.

During his stay at St. Mark’s, he was given care by the most wonderful nurses who were kind, caring, professional, attentive and cheerful. His every need was quickly acknowledged day and night. Providing special care were the Physical Therapists and Occupational Therapists, who encouragingly provided care services.

The hospital kitchen provided delicious home-cooked meals. The dietician dropped by often to see if he needed any adjustment to his meals. A daily menu was provided, so that the patient could select his food choices for each meal. St. Mark’s also provided a clean and attractive environment for his stay.

I’m happy to report to our La Grange area citizens, that St. Mark’s is “alive and well.” Our community is so fortunate to have this facility for our care. It is so wonderful to have such quality and convenient health care locally in our own community.
