To the Editor:
After visiting a church member, I walked to my car and heard a kitten. I asked the lady if she had a kitten, and she said that she did not. She and I looked in, around, and under the car but could not see a kitten. I went back to my job at Mt. Calvary Lutheran Church and asked Pastor Kaspar to come help me search for the kitten. He, also, looked under the hood and everywhere but to no avail. I then went to La Grange Tire and asked for assistance. Ryan Vasek came to my rescue. He had to practically take my left front of my car apart to pull out not one but FOUR kittens. Apparently our mother cat had put the kittens in there over night and by the time Ryan rescued them it was after 10:30 a.m.
