In response to Mr. Pate’s letter, 9/7/22, I sincerely doubt protection of “our freedoms, our families, and our future” will come from progressive district attorneys who have been funded by Soros. According to Capital Research, “George Soros has spent millions on giving to left-wing progressive candidates for district attorney positions across the country in an effort to advance his radical criminal reform agenda.” An analysis by the Law Enforcement Legal Defense Fund (LELDF) found the net result of the implementations by these socalled reformists is “lack of justice for victims and rising crime rates” in their jurisdictions. It appears based on the recent Texas Court of Criminal Appeals decision these same “Soros-funded district attorneys will have sole power to decide whether election fraud has occurred in Texas.” A new poll from the Rasmussen firm has found that “55 percent of ALL Americans believe cheating affected the 2020 presidential campaign.” Will a Democratic controlled government lift the caps after the midterm election on the recently passed continuing resolution that keeps the government funded until December and continue to spend more of your tax dollars however they want? Will they give more of our tax dollars to subsidize Planned Parenthood or “The Green New Deal?” According to www.opensecrets.org, “Planned Parenthood PAC has given $737,785 to federal candidates in 2022 election cycle.” 100% to Democrats. The Biden Administration open border policy does not protect our future. “While Democrats have rushed to condemn Governor Greg Abbott for sending illegal aliens to out-of-state liberal bastions, a new report in Reuters finds that the city council in Democrat-run El Paso has been exporting illegal immigrants in even greater numbers. According to the Reuter’s report the city “has bused roughly 7,000 migrants to New York City since late August and sent more than 1,800 to Chicago.” Senator Marsha Blackburn introduced a resolution defending the Constitution of the United States, pushing back ongoing attacks by liberal activists, affirming it is “an enduring covenant.” “The United States is the freest nation in the world, and it remains free because of the rights secured by the Constitution,” said Blackburn. The senator’s resolution emphasizes that the “Constitution establishes justice, ensures domestic tranquility, provides for the common defense, promotes the general welfare, and secures the blessings of liberty, now and for future generations.” The resolution also notes “the Constitution guarantees that no one can be deprived of life, liberty, or property without due process of law, including unborn children” and “protects the rights of conscience against the enterprises of the civil authority.” The Constitution of the United States defines the basic rights of American citizens, the principal parts of the United States government, and the jurisdictions of these parts.” Republicans support the rule of law.
