Round Top Lions Final Friday Night Movie this Week

The Round Top Lions Club Free Friday Night Movies on Henkel Square wrap-up this week with The Greatest Showman. The movie will begin at 8:45 p.m.

Chamber of Commerce

The monthly Chamber of Commerce meeting will be held on Thursday, Sept. 10, at 9 a.m. If you are unable to attend, meeting notes will be posted on the Chamber website.

Ada Jones Gallery

Arts for Rural Texas invites you to view the paintings of Ada Jones at the Ross Gallery at ARTS in Fayetteville from Sept. 12 through Oct. 17. A special Open House event will be held on September 12 from 12 to 4 p.m. You can meet Ada Jones from 5 to 7 p.m.

RT-C School News

RT-C classes began this past week for the 2020-2021 school year. The Elementary School’s theme this year is “The Year of OpportUNITY. WE all follow the same yellow brick road. Bethlehem Lutheran Church

Bethlehem Lutheran Church services with Pastor John David Nedbalek are held on Sundays at 9:30 a.m. Social distancing is in place and extra safety precautions are being taken.

City of Refuge Church

RT Christian Fellowship

Round Top Christian Fellowship church services have been moved to 9 a.m. and are being held outside under the covered pavilion. This is an effort not to be in a closed space during the pandemic. Family Library

Round Top Family Library has new hours with the start of school. They are now: Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m.; Tuesday and Thursday from 1:30 to 4:30 p.m.; and closed on Saturday and Sunday.

The “Books, Boots & BBQ” annual fundraising event is coming up on Saturday, Sept. 12. Drive-thru meal tickets, individual tickets and tables of eight can be purchased via a link on the library’s website, www.ilovetoread.org.
