Round Top-Carmine 4-H Annual Poinsettia Sale Begins

The members of Round Top-Carmine 4-H are selling poinsettias for Christmas now through the end of the month. Pick-up will be in December. Contact a local 4-H member.

Festival Hill

James Dick will perform on the Clayton House porch on Saturday, Oct. 17, beginning at 7 p.m. The hour-long solo piano program will celebrate the 250th anniversary of Beethoven’s birth, as well as several others. All tickets must be purchased in advance online. Email websupport@festivalhill.org.

Winedale

At noon on Tuesday, Oct. 20, Bryan McAuley, site manager at San Felipe de Austin State Historic Site, will share a quick overview of the San Felipe project. The site shares the stories of Stephen F. Austin and his efforts to recruit settlers to Mexican Texas between 1821 and 1836, and is located at the site of his Colony headquarters. Rifle Hall Burger Nights

Round Top Rifle Hall’s Monday Hamburger Nights are held on the first through fourth Mondays of each month from 5 to 8 p.m. All proceeds benefit the continued improvement of the Round Top Rifle Hall Association. Several safety measures have been put in place, including outdoor seating and to-go packaging for the food.
