Respectful Disagreement

To the Editor:

This is in response to David Deluca’s letter in the Feb. 18 edition, in which he has followed the Democrat M.O. of twisting a situation to suit his narrative. My letter in the Feb. 11 edition did not “excoriate” (denounce or berate severely) Mr. Romberg. I was merely expressing a difference of opinion. Apparently, Mr. Deluca did not recognize this because it is not allowed in his Liberal/Socialist Party.

Furthermore, Mr. Romberg served as Timekeeper the next evening at the Republican Candidate Forum for the HD85 candidates. If I were as upset with Arnold as Mr. Deluca implies, I would have replaced him. Arnold and I had a difference of opinion. It has happened before and will happen again. We respect each other enough to allow it. Freedom of Speech is still our Constitutional right, although the current administration in Washington DC, along with the mainstream media and social networks, are doing their best to negate it.

We must continue to stand up for all our rights and freedoms. We must make our voices heard if we are to save what is left of America.
