Respect for All Opinions

To the Editor:

I am always excited for the Friday Edition of the Fayette County Record. It amazes me to no end to see that there are diverse beliefs that the citizens of Fayette County have. Neither right or wrong, the feelings of the people are very diverse. And of course there is no limit on the number of topics that can make people smile or make their blood boil. The first portion of the paper I like to read are the comments concerning the numerous topics, which we all must endure.

We the people should applaud the Editor and others at Fayette County Record to make a platform for the beliefs of all to be printed for others to see and make comment. I dislike the topics that include dissent on other peoples beliefs as that action trivialize their First Amendment Right to free speech.

I’ve come to believe that all have a right to their opinion and will not worry about that which I cannot control. Therefore, I will continue to watch for the Friday’s comments on the various topics concerning this county and country. I may not always agree with what is printed, but one should respect the beliefs of others.
